Bonita Springs is a city in Lee County, Florida, United States. The population was 32,797 at the 2000 census. According to the July 1, 2007 U.S Census estimates, the city had a population of 42,268. It is part of the Cape Coral–Fort Myers Metropolitan Statistical Area. The city is located on both Estero Bay and the Gulf of Mexico.
